  • Terms and Conditions

    Please read the following terms and conditions before completing the application online.

    • One on one weekly private lesson for 30minutes.
      Cost $34
    • Shared weekly lesson for 30minutes. Maximum number for group lessons is 2 students, advised by the tutor and Instrumental Music Coordinator.
      Cost $22

    Payment is required before the commencement of lessons each term and if not received by the tutor within two weeks of the invoice due date, students may be refused lessons until payment is paid.


    Please note that the following ensembles would require a commitment to a weekly before and after school rehearsal. 

    • Before school rehearsal, 7.30am-8.10am: Senior Guitar Ensemble (Wednesday)
    • After school rehearsal, 3.20pm-4.20pm : Vocal Ensemble (Monday), ATAR Band (Tuesday), Contemporary Band (Wednesday), Stage Band (Thursday)


    Students are required to purchase their own instruments and music tutors can provide advice where required. A selection of instruments are available and Kennedy sponsors the instrument loan for the first six months of tuition for new students to the Instrumental Program (depending on required instrument and availability). 


    If a student cannot attend his/her lesson due to illness, school excursions, extra-curricular activities, or medical appointments, tutors require at least 48 hours' notice via text message or email in order to reschedule the lesson or offer a ‘make-up lesson'. Otherwise, the lesson will be forfeited. It is not sufficient for the student to mention that they may be absent for a lesson the previous week.


    To discontinue lessons, parents must request the withdrawal of their child by Week 8 of the previous term, otherwise the full tuition fee for the term must be paid.
