To learn more about the Research and Study Centre, student resources and Extra-Curricular activities available visit the Centre's microsite.
The Research and Study Centre is a busy, welcoming place where students come to read, work on research, study, play games, do their homework and attend tutoring or Book Club. There are five multi-purpose areas (with large screen televisions or a projector) and an IT help desk.
The Centre has many resources, including extensive non-fiction and fiction collections with items in multiple formats. There are also a variety of furniture styles, tables, chairs, couches, ball chairs and even rocking chairs, so that there is something to suit everyone.
The College has a strong commitment to reading, study and research, which means the centre is well-resourced and well-staffed. Each year, over 20,000 items are borrowed by students.
Teacher Librarians work collaboratively within our College community to support students and staff in the areas of study skills, critical and creative thinking, finding and applying appropriate information and recreational reading.
Various classes are run across the year groups, from lower school reading programmes, to Year 7 and 11 Study Skills. Individual study skills sessions for students are also available.
The Centre is open from 7.45am to 4.15pm every day (with the exception of Friday recess).
