Starting with an early morning departure from the College the two classes set off to two different starting locations down in the Margaret River Region.

Year 10 – 12 Awards Night 2020

Last Tuesday’s Year 10 - 12 Awards Night was a celebration of student achievements in 2020. The evening included the presentations of academic and community awards and the opportunity to hear from the Board, Parent and Friends Association and Student Council.

New Cutting-edge Facility

The new Kennedy Technologies Centre is a dedicated STEM facility that provides an excellent space for woodwork, metalwork, engineering and CAD studies. The new classrooms and workrooms are complemented by a breakout space on the 1stfloor. The TechnologiesCentre is a wonderful new facility for our students to engage in cutting edge technologies and explore creative and innovative solutions for their STEM studies.

From the Research and Study Centre – End of Term 3

We are currently in the midst of Mystery Madness in the Research and Study Centre - we have had several Mystery competitions, a “who dunnit”, and “Maths Murder” investigations. The crime Escape Room activity booked out in minutes and a mystery fingerprint craft activity was a hit! There is one more “guess what this is” weekly photo and a detective movie next week to finish the term.

Recreation in the Research and Study Centre

The Research and Study Centre is a hub of activity, study and reading.

Last week we were honoured to be officially awarded the Western Australian School Library of the Year trophy by the West Australian School Library Association. This is a true indication of the calibre of the team we have here in the Research and Study Centre – it is a privilege and pleasure to work with them each day.
