The Year 10 Mechatronics Sub’s In Schools team is continuing to work towards the State Finals. On Wednesday 5 August we held a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the special camera and competition registration. It was a resounding success, and everyone had a blast, working together to provide tasty hot dogs to the students and staff of Kennedy. Thank you to the Home Economics staff for their help with organising the food.
On Friday 7 August, our industry partners at Intervention Engineering visited our class once again and they were able to provide much-needed assistance with the construction and assembly of the water-proof camera. Campbell Rich, our Design Engineer continues to work hard to complete the waterproof camera and our Manufacturing Engineer, William Stead is continuing to improve the wiring harness of the ROV. Stay tuned for more updates in future newsletters!
